just married: [in black] !

So on Wednesday October 26th we decided to get married, on Thursday October 27th! Talk about a shot gun wedding!!! [and no I am not pregnant] hahaha...

 I felt fabulous in my black Badgley Mischka Gown & according to InStyle magazine Black Wedding Dresses will soon be all the rage! [Good to know I am ahead of the trends] Thor looked handsome in his plaid shorts and top hat... The courthouse was grand [very Sex and the City] the officiant was hilarious, and our lovely witnesses wore cowboy boots! After that we grabbed a bite to eat in the drive in, popped champaign in Griffith Park, and smoked a couple of cigars.... drunk on happiness we ran around the grass barefoot while our lovely photographer captured it all. I cannot wait to see the photos... but until then I hope you enjoy my snapshot collage!!!

I CANNOT BELIEVE I'M MARRIED AND HAVE A NEW LAST NAME [that I cannot pronounce: Dana L.C. Ensrud] has a nice ring to it though!?! xxx

I found some really cool stuff this weekend, not to mention everything was on SALE! Well except one item, can you guess which one?!

I got most of this stuff at the Urban Outfitters Fall Sale. The hat is by Element, and the AMAZING pink studded shoes [fox tick] I purchased from Jeffery Campbell [of course]! xxx

Just a snapshot of me hanging out in my local coffee shop [Sabor] with Howl the Owl. I wonder what the people behind me were thinking when I decided to snap photos of myself from my laptop! ha!

chalk and [vintage] dresses

Today I went for a stroll around the Silverlake reservoir and found it to be extremely inspiring! Maybe it was the spanish lake front home that I have my eye on, or just the fall air setting in! Whatever it was I got the itch. ( All you creative people out there know exactly what that is...!) So as soon as I got home I had to throw on my baby blue vintage dress and play... after 10 minutes of trying to play model and photographer my fiance decided to feel sorry for me and grab hold of the lens. I would have never guessed a little play time would turn into a full on photo shoot. Out came the nikon and the lights and a fish eye later came some really cool frames! As soon as I edit a few I will post them! Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone!!!! Check back soon!
