Today I spent the day at a cute little shop called "Anais Boutique". I spent half of the day visual merchandising and the other half drinking champagne while trying on all of the clothes! [hard life] I found some really amazing pieces that you will get to see in the posts to come!!! xxx

On my last trip to Mexico I picked up [3] of these amazing leather tooled purses! I could not decide which one to get because I was so in loveeee with them all. But, lucky for you I have chosen one [the pink & green one] so the other [2] are currently up for grabs! With that said they are $40 a piece, handcrafted, 100% leather, and very original! It's the perfect size for your iPhone, keys, and must have essentials! My recommended uses are bike riding, bar hopping, & gypsy roaming! The strap is long enough to wear it as a side purse, or change it up and wear it around your neck! I really love these and I hate to see them go, but why be greedy!?! haha....

L.A.. fashion weekend

 I've finally managed to get some of photos from L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios together! My night was filled with berry drinks, makeup stands, and a sneak peak at one of my all time favorite designers new collection. I was really disappointed that Betsey Johnson did not make an appearance, and the fashion surrounding me was not as fashionable as I had hoped... But overall it was a great night and the after party was even better! xxx

pink mermaid hair!

A few days ago I posted a video demonstrating how to use a hair product called color.bug. I was so excited about it I ordered mine right away! Well, I got it in the mail yesterday and used it as soon as I opened it. I must say I am really not impressed. It made my hair pink [purple-ish], but it also made my skin, clothes, counter, pillow.. you get the point, PINK TOO! The texture felt the same as if I colored my hair with chalk! Rough, dry and dirty... So, if you ask me save the $25 and go to your local craft store and pick up some chalk instead for a fraction of the price. Though totally bummed out about the product, I'm really diggin' my pink mermaid hair! I made a salon appointment for this Friday, what to do?!! xxx 

turquoise and tattoos

There are two trips I need to plan asap... Mexico to get more amazing turquoise jewelry and New York for some more tattoos! I am really itching to finish my arm, but my tattoo artist is all the way on the east coast blah... so I plan on heading home in a couple of months to visit my family and get some more work done! His name is Galo Balseca and he just published his first book Nyce Lettering, you should definitely check it out. As for Mexico, I didn't get to go on a honeymoon so I am hoping for a nice little getaway soon! Turquoise and tattoos... oh you make my blood warm! xxx

confused seasons

It's January 2nd and it's 80 degrees outside??!! Does anyone else think that is really bizarre?! Maybe it's because some crazy guy lit over 53 fires in 1 week? Or maybe it's just because it's L.A... either way, it was way too nice to sit inside today so I threw on my poncho, headed to the dog park, and even indulged in a homemade banana split! I love summer, even if it's really winter...? confused seasons make me happy. xxx

happy birthday 2012

 Happy Birthday 2012! Okay so I have decided to take on a year long project. The 365 Photo a Day Challenge. I will be taking [1] photo of me everyday for the next 365 days. [i know you are over joyed right now] haha... But I am really looking forward to this so I can see how I have changed over the course of this year. I plan on putting together some type of collage or short film when it is all said and done! hours to minutes

Okay so the final hours of 2011 are ticking away and I find my chest getting tight thinking about the new year ahead. What did I accomplish in 2011 and what are my goals for 2012? People put so much pressure on themselves with this whole New Years resolution thing, I can barely make plans for the weekend so how the hell am I ever supposed to map out an entire plan for a year?! I'll pass. I do though think that if the world doesn't blow up my shop will be coming along quite nicely in about 365 days from now! 2011 will always be loved, it's the year that gave me forever. Engaged in Norway, Rome for my Birthday, then Married in Los Angeles. It was a pretty great year!

Tonight I will be counting down the final minutes of 2011 with my boys, way too much eyeliner and a whole lot of turquoise. some people just won't understand. nite nite. xxx

funny how fate finds you

So last night, in the middle the night,  I uttered the words "Tomorrow I am going to do something that will change my life forever" to my husband. He thought I was crazy and I have no idea where it came from... or what I even meant. It just came out. Then I went to bed, woke up, went to work and forgot all about it. Until I received a phone call, from a very old friend... with a life changing opportunity. I will say no more, but I will say... it gave me the chills and reassured me that your fate will find you when you least expect it.

my crazy reality

I am finally getting back to reality after being stuck in a sick nightmare for almost 2 weeks! At least I have one week left until Christmas to finish up my shopping. I don't know why I always leave the shopping until the week of,  now I am going to be a frantic mess running around town with all of the other crazies who waited until last minute! Maybe my co-worker Wendy was onto something when she finished her Christmas shopping in the summer!?! But, I guess I wouldn't really have it any other way, I am too addicted to the hunt! I found this his matte sequin jacket while out on a quest. This is a I.N. Studio piece, I could not find it anywhere to link but here is another sequin bolero that I would love to own. Happy Hunting lovies! xxx

versace for H&M madness

It was a a pretty chaotic scene this morning at The Beverly Center. There was about an hour wait and you were limited to two items from the Versace collection per person. The racks seemed to be empty within minutes and all that was left after awhile were a couple of boxes of shoes!!! My favorite items from this collection are the Fitted Leather Jacket , Cropped Leather Jacket both priced at $299, and the Pleated Skirt for $129. What about you?! xxx 

Aztec [mania]

We cannot escape it...but why would we want to?! Aztec prints seem to be all the rage these days... and this Jeffery Campbell purse was surely love at first sight for me. I found it on Pixie Market for $98, but after searching a bit more I  found it on sale at Karma Loop for $64!!! I cannot pass this one up, I don't think you should either...
